POSITION: Director, Strategic Planning and
Business Development
As a key member of a fast-paced senior management team, this
position will put you at the forefront of strategic planning,
investment prioritization and business development initiatives,
providing extensive exposure to key individuals throughout the
organization and to senior management of companies targeted for
acquisition.
Primary responsibilities include working with the division's
businesses:
- Researching and analyzing business opportunities, geographies and
product lines and assessing potential markets
- Strategic development of new business models to drive increased
revenue growth and/or cost reduction
- Assessing transaction opportunities and establishing transaction
strategy
- Preparing and assessing financial, qualitative and valuation
analyses
- Drafting and defending acquisition proposals
- Managing key internal stakeholder relationships (legal, HR, IT,
operations)
- Defining and negotiating transaction terms; (8) conducting due
diligence on potential acquisition targets
Job Requirements
- We are seeking a professional with 3-6 years of strategy
consulting and M and A experience.
- Strong finance, communication and analytical skills are
essential, as is demonstrated leadership
- BS/BA degree in business, economics or related discipline. MBA
preferred
- Experienced in strategic planning, financial due diligence,
financial analysis and modeling of potential acquisitions and
investments (e.g., cash flow, IRR, ROI, etc.)
