POSITION: Inside Sales Team Representative
Join this highly successful Food Industry leader as a vital member
of its Inside Sales team. Contribute to the Company and build
your career as you acquire new customers and boost sales among
existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Trade Shows - Represent the Company at
tradeshows, improved prospecting, qualifying leads, lead
development and follow-up
- Cold Calling - Research, target,
introduce and present the Company's programs to new potential
customers
- Refer Your Discoveries - Identify
business opportunities for pursuit by Field Sales
- Customer Referrals - Acquire, qualify
and develop customer referrals
- Lead Follow Up and Closure - Develop
fluent and persuasive communication of key aspects of Company
programs, and counsel customers on merchandising and best
practices.
- Nurture Calls - Analyze and review the
performance of new customers against plan. Contact customers and
suggest improvements to improve customer performance.
- Gather Resources - Call, qualify and
rank leads from multiple sources (events, campaigns, etc.)
Job Requirements
- Ability to take a consultative sales approach -- this is not a
"hard sell" business
- Prior inside sales experience (2 years preferred) but not
essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Web savvy with strong ability to multitask on a computer
- Strong planning, organization, and time management skills
- Excellent listening and questioning skills
- Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously and work in
a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Ability to work independently and also participate and
contribute as a member of a team
- Motivated self starter with a can-do attitude
- Demonstrated strong relationship management skills, both
external and internal
- Ability to analyze research and put it into the appropriate
presentation format
- Must have the ability to multitask, build relationships and
think strategically to deliver ideas and information that will
promote revenue-generating products
