POSITION: Sales Director
Our client is a world-class market research firm.
In this exciting position, you will transform your in-depth
knowledge of primary, secondary, qualitative and quantitative
research methodologies, and your proven consultative sales ability
into an exciting business development career.
We currently have an immediate opening for an experienced Sales
Director to develop sales opportunities for our Private
Capital/Financial research based services in our New York Region.
Responsibilities
- Lead generation and development
- Scheduling client meetings
- Developing effective and persuasive proposals to close business
- Building a strong client base
- Penetrate other business units within existing client accounts
Job Requirements
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
- Fundamental knowledge of the Private Equity business.
Proven ability to grow a pipeline and shorten sales cycles.
- Mastery of the solution selling process.
- Persistence and relentlessness while balancing professionalism.
- Ability to conduct sophisticated business interactions with
executive level prospects
- Proven ability to consistently meet and/or exceed performance
targets
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Minimum of five years experience solution based selling of
consulting, research or advisory services to F1000 companies, and
specifically within Financial companies
- Knowledge and understanding of primary and secondary research
services
- Knowledge and understanding of quantitative and qualitative
market research
- Detail oriented and results driven.
- Outstanding verbal and written presentation skills.
